I have been married for 15 years to my wonderful wife, Ilze, and we have two children. We currently live on the West Coast, where I enjoy the lifestyle that nature and the ocean have to offer. Balancing my career and lifestyle can be challenging at times, but I consider it a privilege to have this dilemma.
I will have 13 years of experience in the financial services industry in July 2026. After graduating from university, I spent two years travelling in the United States, an experience that broadened my perspective both personally and professionally. A major career highlight was achieving my Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation in 2018, only five years after starting my career in financial services.
I strive to always place myself in my clients’ shoes and view their financial circumstances from their perspective. I have deep compassion for how clients feel about their finances and the impact this has on their outlook on life, which drives me to provide thoughtful, empathetic, and practical advice.
I enjoy international travel, camping, and watching sports, as well as spending quality time with my family and reading printed newspapers. I am also involved in the West Coast Chamber of Commerce and value staying connected within the local business community.
